Birth Trauma and the psychological impact it has on the mother, her family and the staff involved is becoming more and more profound within the NHS.

At #behindthetrauma you will come together to listen to key national speakers and take part in workshops looking at the compassion and language of ‘Birth Trauma’ at its rawest from prevention, detection, management, it’s effects wide scale, PTSD, treatments and more!

National Key speakers so far include:

Mark Harris, Midwife, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner for birth workers, author of the inspirational book ‘Men, Love & Birth’, Founder of Birthing4Blokes.

Dr Diane Ménage, Midwife, & Doctoral Researcher on ‘Women’s Lived Experience of Compassionate Midwifery’.

Gwyneth Eanor: Magistrate & Chair of the Birth Trauma Association.

Dr Emma Svanberg: Mumologist and Psychiatrist who is part of the Birth Better Campaign ‘Make Birth Better’
