Being a Good Treasurer
Thu 17 August 2017, 09:30 – 16:30 BST
Being the treasurer of any not-for-profit organisation can be a rewarding experience. But the role is a complex one, and this training will help you to ensure that you are confident in all the areas that need to be covered. We look at maintaining up-to-date records and creating an audit trail for all transactions, overseeing or facilitating the preparation of an annual budget and regularly monitoring and comparing the actual revenues and expenses incurred against the budget, scrutiny of financial reports, ensuring accurate and complete financial records and compliance with tax regulations.
