Developing an Innovation Mindset
Keeping pace with the pace of change is a challenge for all of us in today's working world. Shaping the pace of change in your favour requires meaningful innovation. But, how do you make innovation meaningful? How do you motivate others to embrace ambiguity and keep iterating, without diverting strategic focus? This series of workshops helps you to get to the root of developing impactful innovation and will leave you with a toolkit that you can use solo or in team and partnership situations.
Change begins with what’s in our heads. Our mindsets shape how we feel, think, and act. This series of five workshops is developed to catalyse a mindset shift that is the bedrock for being able to develop an innovation practice in your working life - whether you are a solo-entrepreneur or trying to build a more innovative team in an established organisation.
Participants will develop a toolkit that enables them to identify what makes them uncomfortable about ambiguity, how to push out of their comfort zones, transform tension into innovation levers, and make collaborative decisions that make meaningful change happen.
Session Three: Being a Resilient Visionary in a Change Resitent Environment
The more we get comfortable with change, the more we may find ourselves speaking a different language to others. How do we hold on to our vision and yet bring people along on our journey? This session explores what lies behind our triggers and how to treat our boundaries more like hedges than fences to build consensus without compromising impact potential.
