Being Jesus hands and feet - with Simon Ponsonby
Sat 5 November 2016, 09:30 – 16:30 GMT
We are privileged to have Simon Ponsonby join us this year to share with us on the subject of “Keeping the Cross @ the Centre”. For those of us who love to serve our communities by being Jesus hands and feet this is a really pivotal topic. How do we stay focused on keeping the cross real and relevant?
This is our second being Jesus Hands and Feet conference and we really excited that Simon can be with us. Many of you who will wish to join us may be running Growbaby projects or something similar but whatever you are doing it will be a great opportunity to share ideas, hear what the Scriptures have to say and remind ourselves what an immense honour it is to serve our communities.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Kingston has 24 hour - every day parking restrictions. Please either think about coming by public transport or there are local car parks but they will cost you. The local car parks are:
Eden Street, KT1 1BW or Ashdown Road, KT1 2NH or Cattle Market, Fairfield North, KT1 2PG.
There are regular trains that come into Kingston (5min walk) or Surbiton (15min walk).
There are a number of buses that come to Kingston, please check tfl.gov.uk.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We have no child care organised, so perhaps you would be kind and leave your small people (apart from the nursing ones) behind.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Peter and Noni Farrelly - Senior Pastors
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, we will have your details as long as you have signed in. There may well be some on the day tickets available if you haven't got round to booking in, we suggest you call closer to the day.
What about lunch and coffee?
Coffee and tea will be provided throughout the day, and you will be provided with lunch. This will be sandwiches, fruit, biscuits and chocolate.
Are there any costs involved?
Yes, we are charging so that we can provide you with lunch on site and so that we can give Simon a gift to thank him for his time.
What is the day going to look like?
We will give you a timetable when you arrive. If you need one before then please email us.
