PSC Support Information Days are free events, open to anyone affected by PSC over the age of 16. This includes family and friends of those living with the condition.
The Information Day will give you the chance to hear from leading PSC experts, as well as allowing you to meet and chat to others affected by PSC.
Belfast
PSC Support has secured a room at the ICC Belfast courtesy of The British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL), which is the professional society for liver researchers and clinicians. BASL is holding its annual meeting during the days leading up to our Information Day, bringing together liver experts from all over the UK. While BASL's annual meeting is not open to the public or patients, we are delighted that some of these experts will stay on to speak at our PSC Support Information Day.
The PSC Support Information Day starts at 12:30pm (registration from 12:00pm) and includes a keynote talk from Dr Joshi from King's College Hospital in London entitled 'PSC: What you Need to Know'. Other sessions on the day include a session on 'Liver Transplant, PSC and Northern Ireland', and 'Quality of Life and PSC'. You'll also have the chance to hear from a PSC patient, chat to others who live with PSC and ask our PSC experts your burning questions.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon including lunch when you arrive.
Cost
This event is free to attend. However, donations are very welcome to help us continue our work.
When you arrive at the ICC Belfast, go to the registration desk and someone from PSC Support will show you where to go. As the BASL meeting itself is a private event for liver experts, PSC Suport Information Day attendees are only be permitted to enter the PSC Support Information Day rooms.
This event has been sponsored by Dr Falk Pharma and Mirum Pharmaceuticals.
