Mixed-team relay is a new Olympic discipline. The Belgian Triathlon Federation creates a mixed-team relay project for youth (16 yrs and older), junior, U23 and elite triathletes.

We like to give athletes the opportunity to show their potential in this new and explosive event. Our aim is to identify high potential athletes to represent Belgium in future events, including championship races and Olympic Games, and to support their coaches.

The Belgian Triathlon Federation organizes a 2-day event (May 4-5) with the following program:

Day 1:

13:30: Welcome at the venue

14:00-17:00 Training sessions

18:30-19:00 Briefing of the test event

19:00-21:00 Workshops for athletes and coaches

Day 2:

09:00-09:50: Warm-up

10:00: Start first athlete in test event (300m swim - 4k bike - 1,5k run). The test event will be organized in an individual time-trial format.

14:00: Debriefing for athletes, coaches and parents.

The entree fee includes the training session, all workshops, the triathlonrace (with electronic timing) and full board accommodation.
