About this event

Music • Singer/Songwriter

Captivating, glamorous and bold, Belle Scar is a distinctive singer-songwriter, producer and artistic director originally from Montreal but now based in London. Described by the New York Times as “a creature from another dimension, she’s phenomenal,” her dramatic, cinematic music is at times redolent of a Tim Burton film score and at others of a mash-up between Shirley Bassey, Bowie and Portishead.

Ever audacious, Scar performed the most recents of her live shows with full fourteen-piece band (including strings and choir) at a sold out Sadler's Wells autumn 2022 and Hoxton Hall 2023 which earned her an invitation to appear solo at the WOW Festival held in the Royal Festival Hall. Belle Scar took some time off performing, to reflect, write and produce new work. She also focused on her busy schedule as a vocal coach, conducting choirs and teaching belting/creative/vocal mindfulness masterclasses and workshops. Belle is finally ready to take the stage again and present her new album due for release in June 2026! She will be accompanied by several guest musicians and there will be a special performance from her choir, The London Creative Singers. A show not to be missed!

"Scar’s husky voice is flamboyant, imbued with a show-tune swagger – Should any forthcoming James Bond film need a composer and singer for its theme, look no further." ****MOJO MAGAZINE UK

Goosebumps garanteed ***** NY TIMES

"A timeless work, a dream set to music, with a strong neoclassical component, and so much, so much beauty"
***** In your eyes Magazine Italy

If ever a debut album was put together to make you sit up and take notice, then this is it. Mesmerising stuff.
