Belong Collective: Addressing youth loneliness
Event Information
About this event
To re-launch the Belong Collective we will be bringing together previously engaged organisations to discuss solutions towards addressing youth loneliness.
We will explore...
- What is the evidence saying about youth loneliness now?
- What are the priorities for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport to tackle youth loneliness?
What next for the Belong Collective:
- How can all sectors work together to tackle youth loneliness?
- What resources are available are available, how can we effectively evaluate these?
- How can we engage young people in this work?
There will be a short survey after signing up for this event, to support our update of the A place to belong report.
What is the Belong Collective?
Working alongside Youth Focus North East, The Belong Collective brings together youth workers in a dynamic community that supports learning and collaboration and develops best practice. This sector-led forum helps drive a national conversation about how youth workers are best placed to address the issue of loneliness. In August 2018 UK Youth released the "A place to Belong" report.
