About the author:
Zahara has led equality and inclusion in secondary and higher education. She was previously a Head of English and Associate Senior Leader and has also led staff and student wellbeing initiatives for a range of schools and corporate companies.
Zahara is also a DiverseEd Associate, Anti Racist Schools’ Award Coach for Leeds Beckett University and chairs the EDI Committee for GuildHE. She has a blog and podcast called School Should Be, which aims to amplify the voices of educators and students on all the things schools should be.
