Greatorex Street Gallery will host an artist talk with Aria Shahrokhshahi, presented as part of Noel Faucett’s photography exhibition Beloved.
Focusing on a variety of diverse communities and the way people interact inside them. Social structures – and more broadly, the human condition – fascinate Shahrokhshahi, as do the relationships and power dynamics that inform our existence. For him, photography offers a window of understanding into these communities and a way for him to explore the world around him.
Shahrokhshahi’s will present his latest project, Wet Ground, which is due to be published with renowned book publisher Loose Joint. Loose Joints is a multiaward- winning independent publishing house based between Marseille and London, over the past 5 years they have received accolades and awards from many institutions including, the Deutsche Börse and the Aperture Photo Award.
