Belper Woods of Wellbeing is a day of nature based wellbeing activities provided by local practitioners within Belper Parks nature reserve

About this event

Belper Woods of Wellbeing is a day of wellbeing activities provided by local practitioners in the woodlands and meadows of Belper Parks nature reserve. A chance to retreat and reconnect, for the whole family.

A range of sessions are offered to spark and support nature connection, mindfulness, movement, creativity and rejuvenation.

To invest in local practitioners and give back to the woods any event profits will be shared equally amongst workshop providers and the Belper Parks volunteer group.

Natural Mindfulness, with Sami from Samphire Natural Wellbeing - a guided woodland wander, to breathe, move and connect with nature.

Nature Writing, with Sarah Hinds from The Garden. This workshop takes you through the process of slowing down, tuning in to the environment around you and noticing what you experience. Sarah will then help you to create a poem together and offer some short exercises to start your own process of writing about nature with a focus which suits your interests. ;

Dru Yoga with Laura from Laura's Therapies. Come join Laura for some lovely flowing yoga in the woods. Classes for adults and children (toddlers and up).

Chakra Balancing Workshop, with natural inspiration, colours and sounds, with Sami from Samphire Natural Wellbeing

Crystal Bowl Meditation, with Angela from Elevate

Drumming Circle, guided by Michelle, bring your drum or get in touch to book a drum to loan

Wild Foraging & Cooking, with Rose from Rambling Rose's Remedies
