Donations We accept donations, with a recommended rate of £3/adult, however, please use free tickets if needed. Donations fund the event costs, reimburse provisions kindly supplied by volunteers and assure continuity, in affiliation with Transition Belper. Any on the day donations are shared equally amongst our team of volunteers as a thank you for their time and efforts, and to support our community.
Access & Facilities Notes: Free parking is available at the Coppice car park, off the market place. Follow the steps down towards the woods from the car park, and follow the main path across the small metal bridge. The main track veers to the left up the hill, keep following this then take a right where the track splits at the top of the slope. Keep following the track until you reach the Belper WoW site. Allow 10-15 minutes to walk from the car park to the WoW site. The reserve has paths, uneven ground and some moderately steep slopes and steps.
Access from the Market Place/Coppice car park has steps and slopes, but the site can be accessed from Mill Lane or Park Road if you wish to avoid steps.
If you have mobility issues we recommend getting dropped off at the Mill lane entrance and walking east/straight along the main track to us.
There will be a basic camping toilet on site; feel free to use the public facilities in town, on Strutt Street, if you prefer.
Please note this is a volunteer-run event, please bear this in mind. If you have suggestions or skills to improve the event please let us know if you are interested in contributing.
