Transition into summer & encourage the seeds planted at Spring Equinox to grow.
Beltane is the mid point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice & marks the traditional first day of summer. It is a fire festival with an emphasis on the protection of all we wish to manifest. At this point in the year, we really notice the shift in nature's energy with longer days and the blooming of trees & flowers. Beltane is a celebration of our leaving the dark winter behind and basking in the fertile abundance of the summer months that lie ahead.
We will consciously work with these themes throughout the ramble.
The Conscious Ramble includes:
Guided meditation for grounding and connection to mother earth
Mindful walking with our attention on the nature around us - this month's walk will take us through Richmond Park and into Isabella Plantation to appreciate the spring blooms
Cacao ceremony with intention setting. I intuitively find a secluded spot which feels like a safe container for the ceremony & cacao also works her magic to hold us safe
Picking guidance cards from a nature themed oracle deck
Forest bathing with meditation for the senses. Trees help you come away with renewed energy and revitalisation
Sending healing into the earth (this is also guided)
Closing meditation
Note:
After receiving your booking I send an email with guidance & what to bring for the event a day or two beforehand - please look out for the email as it sometimes gets sent to people's spam box :-)
By booking you acknowledge responsibility for your own safety for the duration of the event. A reasonable level of fitness is required as the walk is approx 3 hours long over natural, uneven ground. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking, ideally walking shoes or well supported trainers. Some paths may be muddy. In the case of adverse weather conditions (strong wind, heavy rain, extreme heat) the ramble will be postponed to a later date.
A little about my motivation for holding deeply reflective events like these:
Our ancestors understood and were sensitive to the changing seasons, the shifting states of nature and the effect that this had on their mental and physical bodies. We have become increasingly disconnected and so, we suffer physically and mentally.
BUT more and more of us are responding to the need to reconnect to nature; humanity's great mirror. Even in the intensity of urban London we can reconnect.
All of the events I offer carry the intention of earth healing through helping people connect to their true nature, their 'real' Self. I am trained and experienced in healing through cacao ceremony, reiki, yoga & connection to nature. I choose these methods as they have all worked (and continue to do so daily) for me.
A little on Ceremonial Cacao:
Cacao is a heart-opening drink made from raw cacao bean paste - it is chocolate in its purest form. As a gift from nature it helps us to connect to the earth. It gently but powerfully heightens and accelerates any personal development and transformations that you are working on/through at this time. Cacao will only work with your intentions and does not push you beyond your limits like other plant medicines. Most people experience drinking cacao as blissful and relaxing.
To receive maximum benefits and maximum bliss, it is best to avoid caffeine on the day, avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand and avoid heavy meals on the day. Eat something light approx 2 hours prior. Arrive hydrated.
Contraindications are those taking anti-depressants (cacao naturally boosts serotonin levels) , pregnant women and those with high blood pressure and/or heart disease. Please inform me if any of these apply to you and an alternative to cacao or a lower dose will be provided.
R eviews:
-The conscious ramble was such a powerful experience 🌲 🌳 the cacao ceremony was just incredible 🪵 as well as experiencing the outdoor meditation. We were so lucky to do this on a sunny day! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on nature and supporting us connecting to nature through this event. We both really enjoyed it! 🌿
-I really enjoyed the walk around the heath and the cacao ceremony in the woods. It felt all nicely paced with meditation and relaxing.I found the ceremony helped release some grief in a gentle manner and felt content and relaxed afterwards.
-She’s such a calm and supportive person to be around, she allowed us to take our time and enjoy the surroundings and the silence which I so desperately needed. All the guided meditations were wonderful as were the walks and conversation.
