Part of the prestigioius Salomon Golden Trail Series, this race is designed to be a high-octane mountain race in the spirit of Skyrunning, tackling technical terrain and ridges. Literally the skyline of Ben Nevis and Càrn Mòr Dearg Arete.
You don't need a race entry to register for this online seminar! The session is ideal for informing race preparations, strategy, training and decisions about whether or not to enter in future! The session is open to all abilities and genders.
The Zoom session will last around 1h and will cover the following areas:
- Race day 'fly through' - from race start to finish line (with detailed descriptions and photos)
- A focus on each technical 'crux' along the race route (with tips and advice)
- Scottish weather and the 'Bad Weather Route'
- Kit and clothing considerations (incl. mandatory kit advice)
- 'Top Tips' from official recce guide and top-10 finisher of the Salomon Ben Nevis Ultra™ (overlapping route)
- Q&A with host and Mountain Leader, Keri Wallace, who has completed all previous Skyline Scotland skyraces, inlcuding the Glen Coe Skyline.
