Benefits for People from the EU

In this training session, put on by the Restricted Eligibility Support Service, aimed at people working in housing and homelessness across Greater Manchester, we look at the rules for non-UK nationals who want to claim benefits. The training provides a brief overview of the benefits system and looks into restrictions such as the Habitual Residence Test and recent changes to rights for those from EEA countries. The training will also give information on how to challenge DWP decision making and where to get more help.
