Easy Read information (.docx, 513 KB)

  • Resources & advice on how to make a successful PIP claim / mandatory reconsideration / appeal, and other disability-related welfare benefits
  • Solidarity! Work on your application form in a supportive environment
  • Creative workshops: Performance, art, entertainment, creativity, fun!

The first part of the evening goes through disability-related benefits tips that are relevant to those present. This is often PIP applications, mandatory reconsiderations and appeals, but can be Universal Credit, migration from older benefits, etc.

After a break, the second part of the evening involves some kind of creative activity, to help us de-stress from discussing disability benefits so hopefully everyone leaves able to relax for the night, and to give us tools to use as needed to manage stress in future.
