We are really pleased to welcome Annie Sands manager of the welfare rights team at Autism Anglia, during this webinar Annie will tell you about:
• the PIP claims process
• the invitation to claim for DLA claimants.

• an example of a good PIP claim
• what evidence to send in

Annie Sands - has been a Welfare Rights Adviser for over 30 years, mainly working in the voluntary sector. For the past 10 years she has been working for Autism Anglia and manages a well-recognised welfare rights team. They have influenced changes in social security legislation and are currently campaigning regarding the use of the Mental State Examination (MSE) in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments.
She helped write the Autism Insight Report for PIP assessors and is the author of the Autism Anglia Passport. The Passport is widely used in court, prisons, DWP and medical settings.
Annie has three grown-up children with autism.
When she is not representing at tribunal or campaigning, she likes to read, walk and crochet.
