Event description

Description

Dr Benjamin Franklin, scientist, diplomat, philosopher, inventor and Founding Father of the United States lived for nearly 16 years in the heart of London at 36 Craven Street, just off The Strand.

The tour of the house lasts for about an hour and is an historical experience bringing to life the dramatic story of Franklin in London in his only remaining home. It presents the excitement and uncertainty of Franklin’s London using rooms where so much took pace as staging for a drama that integrates live performance, cutting edge lighting, sound and visual projection.

The tour takes you up and down stairs (has handrails) and there is some seating in some rooms, but collapsible seats are available to take round with you. Maximum number for the tour is 15. The charge for the tour which includes admin costs is: Concessions £10, National Trust Members £8.00.

The closing date for bookings is 30 September 2017. Please complete the attached booking form and send it to the address below.

With best wishes
