Event description
To provide parents & family members with information to help them support children & young people when someone important to them has died

About this event

Understanding how to support children and young people while also looking after yourself is vital. Families supported by Child Bereavement UK tell us that it is helpful when they better understand how children and young people grieve and what helps them in their grief.

In this 1-hour session we provide an opportunity to learn more about the grieving process and offer some helpful suggestions for you and your family.

An event kindly sponsored by GSK

We cover:

• How children and young people grieve

• Children’s needs at different ages

• What helps children and young people grieve

• Looking after yourself

• Signposting to information and resources

This is a webinar so you won’t be seen by the other attendees or by the trainer but there will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar using ‘Chat’.

Aimed at families or those with caring responsibilities in the family unit. Please note: this event is not suitable for children.

The webinar will take place via Zoom and you will need to ensure you have a strong internet connection.
