The Bereavement Care Awareness course has been produced as part of Care for the Family’s bereavement training for churches. It is useful for clergy, church leaders, pastoral care leaders or any volunteer interested in supporting bereaved people – whether they are already engaged in bereavement support or are considering the possibility of developing it.

The training will be conducted using Zoom. If you have not used Zoom before, you will be prompted to download the software onto your PC, and this can take a few minutes, so you should ideally do this before the meeting.

The training will be delivered with the use of a PowerPoint presentation, and for the best experience it is therefore advisable to access the training via a PC.

A delegate workbook containing the exercises and activities will be sent to you prior to the training. You will need to print this out so you can write down your thoughts and ideas during the training.

A comprehensive delegate handbook will be sent to you after the training which you will be able to download and keep for reference.
