About this event

St Michael's Hospice is hosting a training session on bereavement.

Fully funded by NHS Sussex, this session is open to all Sussex employees in health and social care.

If you are based outside of Sussex, a £50 charge applies.

The session is available to medical staff, carers & anyone working in local care homes and social/health care to increase their understanding of grief and loss and to enable them to offer supportive care around this sensitive topic.

Alongside reflecting on our own experiences, we will look at theories of grief and how best to support anyone, what to say and what not to say, as they journey through the bereavement process.

Places are limited and booking is essential - we encourage early registration to secure your space.

Organized by

St Michael's Hospice is committed to providing specialist training for healthcare professionals in the community. All training sessions are free to attend. Please note that some training is only open to registered nurses.
