Welcome to the Berkhamsted Walking Book Club!
Come and join us to discuss our latest read while enjoying a leisurely stroll in lovely surroundings.
Meet at Berkhamsted Library, where we will start our walk. In June, we are talking about:
The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman.
This event is free but donations of 50p - £1 are welcome to cover library costs. Pay on the day.
Borrow the book from the library to read beforehand - ask at the library enquiry desk.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to engage in lively discussions, get some exercise, and have a great time!

Yes, the walking book club is free and open to everybody. Donations of 50p-£1 are optional and will help cover the library costs of reserving books for readers.
Yes please! You will be walking with someone who will want to talk about the book and hear your ideas.
You will be able to borrow a copy at no charge from Berkhamsted library in the month before the meeting. So, if we meet in the middle of June, go to the library in May. Of course, you can get your own copy of the book , if you prefer!
The walk is around Berkhamsted town area and will be on the flat. Pavements and the towpath can be uneven in places. If there are a few steps, there will be a way to avoid these. There will be a 'backmarker' to guide you if needed.
Jane is hosting the group, as a community volunteer, and will lead the walk. Berkhamsted library are supporting this event by providing books and a library space for refreshments.
