Event description

Description

Our next Giving Conference is aimed at clergy, PCC members and lay leaders within the diocese who wish to explore different ways to encourage giving within their church.

The conference will cover topics such as legacy giving, contactless giving, and grant-making trusts funding. There will also be a presentation on the new Parish Giving Scheme digital platform.

Speakers include Jonathan de Bernhardt Wood (National Advisor on Giving & Income Generation for the C of E), Eleanor Stead (National Funding & Legacy Officer for the C of E) and Helen Richardson (Chief Executive, Parish Giving Scheme). The conference will be opened by the Venerable Olivia Graham, Archdeacon of Berkshire

Registration will open at 9am. The conference itself will begin at 9.30am and conclude at 12.45pm.

Feedback from our previous Giving Conference:

“This conference helps to give you the confidence that what might seem impossible is in fact possible… and can be achieved with a smile on your face.”

Andrew Bunch, vicar at St Giles & St Mary’s, Oxford

“I found the Giving Conference very useful and clear. It was good to hear comprehensive presentations of programmes to stimulate giving and how to manage giving efficiently.”

Andrew Colleran, Treasurer at Holy Trinity, Headington

“Really enjoyed the Giving Conference: an interesting range of workshops, well presented, and offering ideas for practical application. Thank you.”

Rachel Gibson, Rector at St Clements, Oxford
