Bermondsey Folk Festival at Partizan Brewing

Bermondsey Folk Festival 2019 at The Biscuit Factory is followed by the evening session from 6pm at nearby Partizan Brewing where you can join us for a free concert from nationally acclaimed folk band Stick In The Wheel. They will be headlining a stout line up of talented performers from the burgeoning local folk scene in one of the finer breweries of the Bermondsey Beer Mile, Partizan Brewing.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we recommend to register though no tickets are required.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Due to licence restriction, only 18s and over allowed after 7pm

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Partizan Brewing is within a short walking distance from Bermondsey underground station (Jubilee line). Other connections are possible from nearby Canada Water, Surrey Quays or South Bermondsey Station.

We strongly recommend using public transport. There are no disable parking spaces on-site but available off-site

What can I bring into the event?

Drinks will be on sale on The Biscuit Factory.

About Bermondsey Folk Festival 2019

On Sunday September 8th, 2019 there will be the 5th annual Bermondsey Folk Festival, an unmissable free London folk music event.

Entry is entirely free with headlining sets from Irish folk legend Andy Irvine and Sheffield’s own Martin Simpson, with a host of performances from local and national acts. The festivities unfurl at 11.00am with a guided walk around Bermondsey by renowned poet and folklorist John Constable culminating at noon in The Biscuit Factory where the stage will be bustling with sweet song until 6.00pm.

Traditional Irish dancing and sword dancing alongside attractions for all the family, street food and drinks stalls and community engagement space, will complement the day’s proceedings.
