Description
Who will be the MP for Bermondsey and Old Southwark on 9th June 2017? What will their vision be for the constituency?
On Monday 15th May 2017, a few weeks before the ‘snap’ General Election called by Prime Minister Theresa May , Bankside Residents' Forum (BRF) in partnership with Southwark Cathedral will be hosting a GE2017 hustings at Southwark Cathedral.
The hustings will be chaired by Stephen Hance, Canon Missioner at Southwark Cathedral
Amir Eden, Chair of Bankside Residents' Forum and the Bankside Residents' Forum team will be co-hosting the event.
We would like to invite you to come along and use this opportunity to question the Parliamentary Candidates about issues which are of concern to you.
Selected questions will be put to the Parliamentary Candidates. If you would like to ask a question please email ge2017@banksideresidentsforum.org your question with your full name.
By registering online you have a greater chance that your question will be asked and you will be afforded preferential seating at the event.
There will also be opportunities for questions to be asked from the audience throughout the event.
The parliamentary candidates from the Labour Party, Liberal Democrats, Conservative Party, Green Party and
UKIP have all been invited to the hustings.
