Come join us at The Heart of Newhaven Community for an exciting workshop where you'll learn the timeless craft of hand-sewing buttonholes.

Guided by traditional techniques, you’ll discover how to hand-stitch buttonholes with elegance and precision — the hallmark of a garment made to the highest standard.

This class is designed for discerning makers who want to elevate their craft and learn a skill that will set your work apart.

All materials will be provided but you will be required to bring a small sewing kit with you.

Tea,coffee and sweet treats will be provided.

Is this workshop for beginners?

No, workshop attendees will be experienced sewists with some hand sewing skills.

Where is the Heart of Newhaven and is there parking?

The Heart of Newhaven is a few minutes walk from the ‘Newhaven’ tram stop. There is also plenty of free on street parking. Please be aware the studio is on the top floor and there is no lift.

What equipment will I need?

A small basic sewing kit will be required. I will send out details upon booking. All materials and thread will be provided.
