This online training session has been specifically developed for those working in the hair and beauty industry. We recognise that people who provide hairdressing and beauty services often have a unique and trusting relationship with their clients and are aware that people experiencing abuse will often feel comfortable to talk to their hairdresser, barber, beautician or nail technician about their relationship. This means that those in the hair and beauty industries can often be the first person to hear that someone is experiencing domestic abuse.

Our online training will support you to recognise and respond to any disclosures of abuse in your workplace. Following the training you will also have the option to register your business as a Safe Place where anyone affected by domestic abuse can access resources on the range of help available to them, Onus will provide anyone who signs up to the scheme with a supply of Safe Place resources and ongoing support.
