About this event

Community • State

As part of Wandsworth’s Sustainable September, join artist Sophie Dunster (founder of Gung Ho London) and create your very own sustainability inspired tarot artwork.

This workshop focuses on the power of symbolism to manifest changes you would like to make within your own lifestyle. Channelling the issues you feel strongly about, we will workshop what these can be symbolised by and then put together your own artwork that you can start working on.

Sophie will run through a range of topics and how these can be symbolised, with a brainstorming session to find out what your key topics and actions would be.

Using Sophie’s unique style and design, come away with your very own bespoke layout (that we start working on) for your own artwork that can act as a day to day reminder for everyday activism - big and small! Something to hang somewhere you can see it everyday, this artwork can be a positive reminder of all the activism and change you want to see.

In the 90 min workshop, Sophie will run through examples of how this is done, ending in a creative session where you can put these ideas into practise yourself.

This is for anyone who wants to use art and design to start conversation and practice everyday activism - any age and any level is welcome.

This is a free workshop with limited spaces, please book in to attend.
