About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

WSA Exchange, the Winchester School of Art's Enterprise Unit, is delighted to present a FREE interactive workshop which focuses on helping your organisation develop and implement Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategies. Participants will specifically learn a practical approach to embedding inclusive language practice across their organisations, led by our Associate Vice President of EDI & Social Justice colleague, Pascal Matthias.

Prof Yasmin Sekhon, Associate Dean Equality, Diversity & Inclusion will help you to understand the scope of EDI and how university-led insights and expertise can help your organisation navigate change to transform the work that you do.

Following the workshop, attendees will be able to

  • Understand the business case for diversity, equality and inclusion
  • Assess your organisation's current EDI position with a focus on inclusivity
  • Consider and develop actions to overcome common barriers to implementation of EDI
  • Develop an action plan of next steps
