Best practice in marketing and communications

About this event.

The event aims to look at several topics related to best practice in marketing and communication within the Library environment. The day will cover 4 topics via presentations and audience interaction, with plenty of time for questions. There will also be an opportunity for networking and an optional tour of the Library at the end of the event.

The programme of the day is as follows:

11:00 Welcome, tea and coffee and housekeeping

11:30 "Where's my book?" Improving the customer journey - Emma Hollinshead, Aston University

12:30 Lunch

13:00 Impact and Infographics - Madalene George, University of Worcester

14:00 Redesigning publicity to make it more effective - Dave Palmer and Giada Zanella, Aston University

14:30 Overview of best practice in accessible design - Laura Waller, University of Warwick and Gill Evans, University of Coventry

15.15 Event close and optional tour of the Library

Who this event is aimed at?

This event is aimed at staff with an interest in or experience of marketing and communications within the Library.

Venue and date:

The event will take place at the Aston University Library on 18/03/2020. Registration is at 11.00 am, with the day beginning at 11.30. We expect to finish by 15.15. Details on how to get the the University can be found on the University website

Lunch:

Please note that lunch is not provided. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. Alternatively, Aston University Library has a cafe on the ground floor and there other food shops a short walk away on Aston Street.

Tea and coffee will be provided during the day
