About this event
The session will be an open, collaborative and interactive 3hr training workshop for you to be guided through best practice provision of accommodation, transport, worker welfare, and in-field facilities, in the UK Berry Sector. As the context of recruiting into UK agricultural work continues to be challenging, and with retention of workers remaining a key priority, getting these aspects right is both morally and economically important. This workshop will equip your organisation and/or growers to meet minimum and best practice standards, and give you a chance to hear from Sainsbury's on their expectations of you in this area.
After the workshop you will be provided with comprehensive guide of all topics covered and key considerations for implementing best practice. In addition, we will provide a Checklist that you can use to self assess current standards and make an action plan for the future.
