Do you provide services to victim-survivors of violence against women and girls? Do you want to improve how you work and learn more about co-production models?
This training will cover how to truly co-produce services for victim-survivors of VAWG, highlighting best practice and exploring issues such as wellbeing and support, robust policies and procedures, and toolkits and evidence that support this work.
By the end of the session participants will:
- understand what is meant by co-production and the challenges and benefits it brings
- understand the different methods of engagements and the advantages and disadvantages of these
- understand how to co-produce with victim-survivors of VAWG, and how to work in trauma informed ways
- understand how to support the wellbeing of those with lived experience
About the trainers:
Lisa Ward is a consultant who works with organisations to improve their lived experience engagement.
Ruth Mason is a consultant who works across VAWG organisations. She is a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor.
Lisa and Ruth have more than 25 years combined experience in the VAWG sector.
