Come to the BettaKabaret!

Those of you familiar with BettaKultcha will know of some of the amazing surprises that the event produces—astonishing stories, challenging ideas, brilliant skills. In the time that we have been running BettaKultcha Richard and myself have met some incredible people who can do a lot more than speak for five minutes using a clutch of slides.

We thought it was time to give those people a chance to show off their skills without the restriction of a slide-show template so we have created BettaKabaret.

How does BettaKabaret differ from BettaKultcha?

BettaKabaret will have three or four accomplished acts who will each entertain the audience for up to twenty minutes. These acts will vary in their content from mind reading to comedy to musical saw playing etcetera. In between these acts we will have several, five minute open mic slots for anyone wanting to try out their talent - whatever that may consist of.

We need you!

That means we need volunteers for the open mic slots! If you want to contribute to the event please get in touch with ivor@bettakultcha.com and have 'BettaKabaret' in the subject line.

Let us know whether you are accomplished or open mic and describe briefly what you intend to do on stage. The Brudenell Social Club has a wonderful stage and sound system so most kinds of acts can be considered.

However, lighting is basic at the venue so acts requiring special lighting effects may be unsuitable.
