This Autumn, Durham County Council are hosting virtual consultation events across each of County Durham’s 14 Area Action Partnerships.

Details of the Event

The online events will give you an opportunity as County Durham residents, partners, community organisations and businesses to hear key updates from the Leader of Durham County Council, Cllr Simon Henig, and Senior Officers, on important local issues, including the new vision for the county and providing an opportunity to thank the many groups and volunteers who have done so much during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the county’s decision to allocate £20 million to make our towns and villages more vibrant join us for an opportunity to influence how we spend these funds.

We’ll also be giving you an update on the COVID-19 pandemic in your area direct from Amanda Healy, Director of Public Health for County Durham as well as important details on how you can become a COVID-19 Community Champion to help us continue to tackle the virus.

As part of this we will be recognising the outstanding community response to the crisis. You’ll have an opportunity to give a huge thanks to the hundreds of community and voluntary sector organisations and individuals, who have kept the County going at this extremely challenging time.
