Who should attend?

This is event is for anyone with Type 2 Diabetes who would like to speak with clinicians about managing their condition.  The event is designed to promote preventative healthcare for people who would like to learn more about what they can do to improve their health and manage their diabetes.

What if I haven't attended my diabetes annual review?

Accepted Answer

At the event, you can speak to a nurse or health care assistant who can book in your annual review along with the necessary blood tests outside of normal surgery hours in a non-clinical setting.

Why should I attend?

Accepted Answer

This is an opportunity to speak to professionals in a non-clinical setting outside of normal business hours to learn more about managing type 2 diabetes.  If you have been thinking about making changes towards better health, this is a small step in the right direction.

Question 4

Do I have to attend all of the sessions?

Accepted Answer

No!  You can come and have a look around anytime you want throughout the day from 0900 to 1500.  Feel free to come and go and engage in a way that works for you.  You will not be pressured into anything you are not comfortable with.  We are a friendly bunch of people who are here to help you!
