This 6 week course is for international Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who want to improve their pronunciation. This course will help you not only with your speaking skills, but also your listening skills. The course focuses on better understanding the differences between spoken and written English and how your first language can have an impact on your pronunciation.
The topics in this course are different from those in term 2.
What will you study?
In this course you will:
-Further development on vowel sounds, intonation, stress and rhythm
-Practice and recognise the different consonant sounds in English
-Howe to recognise common pronunciation problems
-Learn how to artciulate particularly difficult sounds
Each session will be 1 hour 30 minutes long.
Classes are once a week and start at 15:30 and end at 17:00. Please arrive on time.
