Frequently asked questions

Will food be provided?

Yes, delicious pastries and lunch will be provided in the cost of your ticket. You will also be able to buy additional tea, coffee and drinks throughout the day.

Is there parking?

Yes, there are 80 free spaces at the venue, as well as on street parking nearby.

Do I have to stay for the whole day?

Not at all, it's totally up to you. You can dip in and out of the sessions that interest you and leave whenever suits. The Engine Works has lots of lovely spaces for you to relax and recharge between sessions.

Is the day suitable for children?

We’ve set the age limit at 12+ as many of the sessions cover topics relevant to young people such as periods. However the day will involve frank, open discussions about intimate health topics - as parents and guardians, you know what's right for your young person and can use your own discretion.

Is the venue fully accessible?

The venue has step-free access to the ground floor. Some sessions are upstairs and there is no lift. If that’s a barrier for you, let us know at info@bettii.co.uk, we may be able to move sessions to suit your needs, but can’t guarantee this for all sessions.

Are babies welcome at the event?

Yes, and we will be providing a dedicated space for breastfeeding.

Who is Bettii?

Bettii is here to make managing your body easier. Founded by Elaine Galston, it started with a world-first menstrual cup washer for toilets. While that’s in development, Bettii Presents brings clear, medically-backed info to help women make confident, informed decisions about their health.

Can’t afford a ticket but really want to come?

We don’t want cost to be a barrier. Please email us at info@bettii.co.uk, we’ll do our best to help.
