About this Event

Between the lines: The Art of Choreology

Benesh International at the RAD are hosting the 2020 Benesh International Congress, from 22-24 May 2020.

Taking place every four years, this is a rare opportunity for Benesh professionals, students and those interested in BMN from all over the world to gather together, connect and discuss the latest developments within the Benesh community. This is the first congress to be hosted by the newly re-branded Benesh International, formally known as the Benesh Institute. It will also form a part of the RAD’s Centenary celebrations.

Between the lines: The Art of Choreology will have a vibrant and varied schedule combining lectures, participatory workshops, carousel sessions, round tables and daily plenary sessions - as well as time to meet and network with the global Benesh community. The congress will be book-ended with an Introductory course to Benesh Movement Notation on the 21 May and a Benesh Exams Intensive Training Day on the 25 of May. More details on these will follow shortly.
