About this event

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our weekly singing workshops.

Our sessions are run with the utmost safety in mind and your health and wellbeing is paramount.

Please read all of the information below:

While the easing of restrictions means that some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement, we’ve listened to choir members and our colleagues, and we know a lot of people remain cautious. In line with the government advice to act carefully, we feel it’s important to continue with certain measures to be on the safe side.

If you are having a taster session please introduce yourself to our choir leader or our stewards who will welcome you and show you the ropes.

We have great fun, we are very safe and welcoming and its great way to have fun singing together.


#TeamGarnett is looking forward to welcoming you to our sesh. The rehearsal will take place in a well ventilated environment , so appropriate footwear and warm layers are advised. (We do ask existing members to wear your choir garments please see our essential gig guide in our events itinerary page in the member's area)

Here are a few pointers to ensure maximum singing joy. Please be sure to carefully read the advice as it will help with safety parking, finding your way, etc.

We can’t wait to be together but we want to do so safely.

Safety precautions

We would like to ask all attendees to take a lateral flow test on the day of your rehearsal and pending a negative result please do come along and enjoy our safe rehearsal session. If you are positive then please again do not attend. Masks are optional.

We would like to remind you that if you are displaying any of the symptoms of Covid-19 (which are loss/change in sense of taste or smell, new and continuous cough, or a high temperature see below for disclaimer) you will be missed but please do not attend the rehearsal . Also, if you have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid- 19 and are isolating then please stay at home too.


These will be provided for the new song you will be learning.


Please park in the multistory car park and make your way to Armstrongs which is located near the play area of Flemingate.


There are toilet facilities available.

We will be posting any updates via email please check your inbox and junk box before the event for changes.

You can and should cancel your place if you are no longer able to attend, this event is number limited. Please try to give as much notice as possible.


In taking part in any event you agree to the following.

I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that The Government and local authorities and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.

I further acknowledge that AFO Choir has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

I further acknowledge that AFO Choir can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, volunteers and other choir members and associates of AFO Choir and their families.

I voluntarily seek services provided by AFO Choir and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending any event, rehearsal arranged by All For One Choir

I attest that:* I am not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.

* I have not traveled to a highly impacted area globally in the last 14 days.

* I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

* I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities.

* I am following all All For One Choir recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

I hereby release and agree to hold All For One Choir harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the organisation All For One Choir Ltd, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from All For One Choir Ltd.

I understand that this release discharges All For One Choir Ltd from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against All For One Choir Ltd and associates with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from All For One Choir Ltds.

This liability waiver and release extends to the rehearsals events gigs concerts together with all owners, partners, and employees.

All attendees must abide by conditions *

Please be mindful of social distancing at all times. No hugging (we know its hard) no moving of markers or chairs.

Failure to observe instructions may jeopardise our being able to run rehearsals. A full risk assessment has been undertaken in order for us to resume rehearsals to take place and we must observe the rules.
