Bexley Grammar School Sixth Form Open Evening (for entry September 2026)

We are delighted to welcome you to Bexley Grammar School.

Our Open Evening is designed to provide the information you and your child need in preparation for making appropriate subject choices ahead of joining our thriving Sixth Form in September 2026. Last summer, 67% of our Year 13's went on to Russell Group universities and 16 students achieved Oxbridge or Medicine / Dentistry / Veterinary courses. We have a proven track record of delivering fantastic outcomes for our students.

At our Open Evening you'll attend a presentation by the Headteacher, staff and prefects and have an opportunity to visit subject areas where teachers and students will be available to answer your questions. Join us and experience first hand the vibrant buzz of our Sixth Form and the thriving, supportive school community of Bexley Grammar.

6.55pm-7.50pm Meet your Student Ambassador / Visit Subject Areas

Important Information

Please note the following points at the time of booking your ticket(s):

• Our ticketed system avoids overcrowding and gives every student the opportunity to visit the school. We kindly ask that students only attend one of the two dedicated Open Evening sessions. Students currently in Year 11 at BGS will be invited to attend earlier session times which will not be bookable via Eventbrite.
• A maximum of 2 tickets can be booked.

• Please ensure you have the QR code ready to display when you arrive at school. This will be emailed with your booking confirmation from Eventbrite.

• We operate a no ticket, no entry policy and reserve the right to refuse admission if you are unable to present confirmation of your booking.

• In the event that you can no longer attend the session you originally booked, please cancel the ticket and rebook for a different session.

• Please note that there is NO parking on site and parking is restricted in Danson Lane. Please be considerate to local residents when parking in neighbouring roads. There are public car parks at Tesco in Welling and the Co-op in Blackfen, both a 10 minute walk away.

• Students and their families are encouraged to use public transport where possible. The closest bus stops to the school include Westwood Lane (Wendover Way), Welling (Guy Earl of Warwick) and stops R or S. Welling station is a 15 minute walk from the school.
