What materials do I need?

Accepted Answer

Just a pen and some paper (any type - printer paper is fine or the back of an old envelope, or maybe two). I recommend a pen rather than pencil because it beats the urge to rub out and embracing messiness is the path to anti-perfection!

Question 2

Do I need to be good at drawing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not - this is a perfection-free space for creativity in all its forms. All you need is an interest in drawing and creativity, and the desire to have a go.

Question 3

How long does the session last?

Accepted Answer

This is a one-hour one-off introductory session. I hope to add further events in future and I'll give you the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions, as I love creating spaces that are collaborative, safe and therapeutic.

Question 4

Do I need to show anyone my work?

Accepted Answer

If you want to, then great. But if you don't, you absolutely don't have to. This is a fun session designed to make everyone feel comfortable so it really is up to you.

Question 5

Do I need to have my camera on?

Accepted Answer

You can if you feel comfortable having it on, and you can keep the camera off for the whole time if you feel better that way. The session will have opportunities for camera on and camera-off time in it anyway, but if you'd rather be off-camera the whole time that's fine.
