If you are eating please let the judge know when they call your name, they can skip your match and come back to you afterwards.
Time
Both Junior and Senior divisions will start at the same time. This is a little different to our usual set up so please arrive by 12:30pm, the tournaments will both start at 1pm.
Prizes & Trophies
As usual we will have a large prize pool featuring the latest Japanese releases.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners in each division.
Please also bring some cash if you wish to purchase anything from the sales area as the signal is very poor, preventing us from taking any card payments on the day.
Format
Junior Division
Children aged 12 and under will compete in their own division. The Junior division will play 1 on 1 format. They may change Beyblades between battles but not during a battle.
We are going to slowly start introducing the Junior's to the 3 on 3 format. At this event the finalists will play 3 on 3 (see rules below). Ban list does not apply to 3 on 3 format so please have a deck ready if players reach the finals. If a participant makes it to the finals but doesn't have enough Beyblades, the judges will be able lend them some but please do not rely on this going forward.
Banned parts for 1 on 1 formats are as follows:
Blades: WizardRod, AreoPegasus, CobaltDrake, SilverWolf, (CobaltDragoon if used on Elevate)
Ratchets: N/A
Bits: MN (Metal Needle)
Senior Division
This tournament will use a 3 on 3 format where each player uses 3 Beyblades (with no repeating parts) in a predetermined order.
First Stage: Group Round Robin
Finals: Round Robin or Double Elimination based on turnout
All genuine TT and Hasbro parts are permitted excluding Metal Needle as it's use can cause damage the stadiums. If you have any uncertainties about the authenticity of your parts please post a picture on the Facebook page and ask for advice.
Basic Rules: 3 on 3
Players will use three Beyblades. Players must not use more than one part with the same name across your deck. Players will hand their Beyblades in a predetermined order to their judge for inspection. The judge will hand players each Beyblade per round.
