Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Nonprofits, social enterprises (or CICs) and other businesses for good often collect data but struggle to analyze it effectively, demonstrate their impact to funders, or use it for strategic decision-on making. In Part 2, we are focusing on getting the data and making it meaningful for your organisation.

Introduction to basic data collection methods (surveys, interviews, existing records) - implementing and analysing
Practical exercises in drafting an impact report or case study
Utilizing free/low-cost tools for data visualization (e.g., Google Data Studio, basic Excel charting)

How should I prepare for the workshop?

We recommend having a writing tool (pen/pencil) and paper or a notebook with you, as we will be writing by hand. If you already have a project you've already completed, keep it handy with you and you'll be able to use that or refine it as you wish during the exercise.
