Beyond Basic Brioche with Nancy Marchant

Learn to work plain brioche and brioche-stitch variations with two or more colors. You will make designer increases and decreases and create new patterning by moving the stitch around. There is still so much to explore in this newly introduced technique. You will leave the class inspired and ready to design your own brioche knitted projects. Students must have a solid grasp of knit, purl, increase and decrease stitches as well as casting on and binding off.
Materials student must bring:
- 3-4 colors worsted or DK weight plain wool yarn
- Double-pointed or circular 3.5mm - 4mm needles
Nancy Marchant is known as the 'Queen of Brioche' and holds successful courses on both sides of the Atlantic as well as being a prolific designer and author of two books devoted to brioche.
