Beyond Black History Month – Make the Change Meaningful (ONLINE)

The session will challenge the limitations of Black History Month and support staff in embedding Black history as everyday knowledge and cultural literacy. 

During this session you will:

- Reflect on the risks of tokenism and performative inclusion. 
- Explore strategies for embedding Black history across disciplines and timeframes. 
- Recognise the intersections of race, gender, class, and neurodiversity in historical narratives.
