Beyond BREXIT – Design the World You Want
Tue 8 August 2017, 18:00 – 20:30 BST
- Want to identify and map the key stakeholders and actions required to make a campaign successful?
- Want to use bootstrap advocacy/activism strategies to design an effective campaign?
- Want to work with other change makers to bring your vision to life?
It’s time to design your campaign. And when we say ‘design’ that’s exactly what we’ll be doing. In our most creative workshop, you will be challenged to draw your spectacle and plan participant action based on design thinking and story-telling methodologies.
Developed for: social businesses, NGOs, public servants, CSR managers and concerned citizens.
This year we have seen a concerned public mobilised like never before – whether it has been for refugees, women’s rights or to BREMAIN. In this workshop, we help you design your spectacle to ensure you follow up and through. So your event sparkles for more than one display.
We will once again use the Sustainable Development Goals – which must maintain public interest for another 13 years if they are to be achieved.
We will use a number of different design methodologies including ‘Design Thinking’ and “Storytelling”. You will take your knowledge of the Goals, the Targets and Indicators from weeks 1 and 2, as well as our Campaign Cards and our ‘Campaign Canvas’ to draw out your event – taking you one crucial step forward towards our final festival day
Join us if you you want to play an active and sincere role in charting our nation’s course past BREXIT and into a prosperous and sustainable future.
* Introduction to our “Campaign Canvas” which helps you plot all actors and actions required to make a campaign successful
* Plan an advocacy/activism from start to finish using Design Thinking and Storytelling
* Prepare to succeed with our SDG Festival (Aug 25)
