Join us for this online event to hear how five organisations are using reframing to tell persuasive stories about progressive justice reform

About this Event

This is the rescheduled online version of our postponed seminar in March.

COVID19 has shifted political and public opinions on several topics, like obesity and care. Meanwhile, crime and justice policy remains firmly penal. Our government is convinced prison works. How can the voluntary sector tell a better story to progress understanding on the ways we should deal with crime?

Only focusing on crises in the criminal justice system just leads to the public and politicians feeling hopeless about the possibility of progressive change. But we already have evidence about what does work in persuading people to support progressive justice policies.

Transform Justice has been supporting organisations as they reframe their messages in order to convince audiences of the changes that are needed. Join us for this webinar to hear what’s worked, what hasn’t and what’s next. Senior staff from Changing Lives, CJVSF, Clinks, Safer London and The Howard League for Penal Reform will each tell us more about their journey into reframing.

This webinar follows on from our sold-out breakfast event in December where we heard from Why Me?, Just for Kids Law and Bounce Back about their own reframing journeys.

The webinar starts at 9.30am and will run until 11.00am, after which attendees are welcome to stay until 11.30am for half an hour of online networking.
