This workshop will cover an introduction to selling and focus on relationships and building trust.

Please note this workshop is open to anyone living in Wiltshire that has been made redundant due to the Honda plant closure in Swindon, this includes Honda employees and those affected in the supply chain.

Selling is involved in every aspect of a business and your biggest competitor can often be yourself. From the transactions with your customers to press releases and networking; For many people these first steps into the world of sales can be a nerve wracking one.

You have probably heard the phrase “People buy off people”. Understanding your audiences’ motivations and knowing and having confidence in yourself is a key part of being adaptable and successful in selling.

By the end of this introductory workshop, you will have a better understanding of how to self-reflect and research to adapt to different situations. Plus, how to pitch effectively to any audience and build long term business relationships. Enabling you to close that all important first sale!

In the workshop we will cover:

• Selling v pitching

• Benefits to your business

• Researching your audience

Relationships and Trust

• Building rapport

• Self-reflection /mindset

• Closing your first sale


Are you eligible to attend?

You must be based in Swindon or Wiltshire and fill in your full name and address details during the Eventbrite registration process.

You will need to completed a client enrolment form before attending the workshop, enrolling means you can access our support for free. The form will be emailed to you straight after you register for the event. If we do not receive the form before the start of the session it may mean that we are unable to send you the Zoom details to access the workshop.

The Zoom details to join the workshop will be sent to you the day before the workshop takes place.
