About this event
Did you know that nearly two-thirds of young people may have had their mental health affected by the current pandemic? That’s just one of the alarming findings from the European Youth Forum’s new report, “Beyond lockdown - The 'pandemic scar' on young people.”
As European governments and institutions start to plan their recovery, join us on Thursday 17 June, at 11:00-12:30 CET, to discuss how we can avoid a pandemic scar on youth after the lockdown.
We will reveal the findings and key recommendations from our study, including:
- how the crisis has affected the employment, education, and mental health of young people in Europe, and what this means for youth social and economic inclusion in the long term;
- the specific challenges that youth in marginalised situations face and how to support them;
- promising practices and gaps in the response of institutions and national governments.
We look forward to having you at the launch event, to discuss our recommendations on a sustainable and youth-friendly recovery.
