By North Wales Wildlife Trust

Overview

Explore the history of invasive plants in the UK and how they're impacting our environment today. Including work by artist Manon Awst.

Have you ever heard of invasive species? Come along to our exhibition, Beyond the Boundary: A Case of Garden Escapers, as it moves to its final location at Plas Glyn y Weddw to find out all about them!

Explore the issue of invasive species, including their relationship to our garden boundaries and the wild, through history and art. See the sculpture created by artist Manon Awst which has been commissioned as part of this exhibition.

The exhibition is delivered in two languages, Welsh and English.

New for this location is an interactive experience embedded within Manon's artwork, an updated gallery of plants to watch out for in your garden, and an updated short film.

The John Andrews Theatre is located along the path to the left of the main hall at Plas Glyn y Weddw. The exhibition is located in the room below the outdoor amphitheatre.

This exhibition is part of our Garden Escapers project at North Wales Wildlife Trust which is funded by the Nature Networks Programme. It is being delivered by the Heritage Fund, on behalf of the Welsh Government.
